The Marshals first movie review.

I was thinking last night as I watched Gangs Of New York of just how good it was. This movie has nearly everything needed to be considered one of the best. To make a good movie I have created a set of rules;
1. The movie must keep ME entertained. (who cares what others think)
2. The plot while often deep must be understandable. (does not apply to Terantino films, that dont stink)
3. Other people viewing the movie with me didnt blabber the entire time, drunk or not.
4. The actors dont seem like they are trying to win awards the wholemovie.
5. My opinion of the movie is really the only one that has merit, and at any point in a movie a good movie can turn into a bad movie.
6. The end of the movie MUST NOT SUCK. (a problem with many new movies)
Now where was I? Ahhh ok back to Gangs of New York. Like I was saying this movie had nearly all of the properties of a goo dmovie but then fell into the trap of my last two rules. I am not saying that the end of Gangs of New York was bad, but it sure did make a good movie piss me off. I watched that movie for what had to be 10 hours and was entertained the whole time. The movie was full of women, fighting, blood, love scenes, and bad asses. With all of that you would think that it had to have a great ending, where the Protagonist after watching his father getting killed by the antagonist many years in the past would come back to avenge his fathers death, right? Themovie led me to think that was just what was about to happen, and BAM. The movie went to crap, takeing the old clock wise water spiral. The huge brawl that the whole movie prepared you for that should have been at the end of the movie was broken up by cannons and riflemen, that were neutral to the brawl. Yea sure the protagonist kills the antagonist in the very end, but only after the bad ass bad guy got hit with a cannon ball explosion. Sadly after watching this three hour movie I am forced to give it three stars out of a possible five. (* * *)
