So there I was..

Today after classes I went by the local bike store because my bike has recently been stolen from me. (some worthless person actually stole my bike off of my front poarch!!) Anyways, I dont need to explain how crooks sux, I am sure we all know that. So back to the bike store. There I was looking at the used bikes because, well I am a poor college guy. The salesman comes over to me and gives me the prices of the bikes I was looking at, none of which were under $300!! (THESE WERE THE USED BIKES MIND YOU) I then go over and look at some of the brand new bikes in the store, and to my amazement some of them were $300 and less. I then ask the salesman if he was sure about the prices on the new bikes and he certainly was. He told me that the bikes I was looking at were $800 bikes 10 years ago and I was forced to ask him "why then why the high price if they are so old?" to which he replied, "They arent worth that much but we want to make a big profit on them." I then just stared at him blankly...took a pause, turned away... and laughed on my way out of the store. Is this what is considered good buisness or just retarded? Please do comment.
